Tianjin has announced upgrade opportunities from EMB145 to EMB190.

Minimum Requirements:

300+ hours PIC on type
Current on type within 12 months
3000+ hours total time
Must be between 30 and 52 years of age
Valid/current ATPL issued from a country that has diplomatic relations with the Peoples Republic of China
Valid passport issued by a country that has diplomatic relations with the Peoples Republic of China
Valid/current Class A (First Class) Medical
No history of incidents or accidents. Must provide a letter from your current/previous employer.
ICAO Level 4 (or equivalent) English proficiency
No criminal history. Must provide a notarized and authenticated proof of no criminal history document from your home country government AND the government of the country you reside (if applicable)
No license limitations - If you have the Circ-approach VMC only" limitation on your license, you must get the limitation removed before you can begin training. You can attend the interview with the limitation on your license, but it must be removed before the CAAC check ride. Tianjin Airlines will reimburse applicants who are successful in the interview (including CAAC check ride).

Domicile: Tianjin, China (close to Beijing)

Compensation: $144,000 USD/year (net) + Bonus (Total $467,000 over 3 years!)
For Captains who transition to the EMB190, the pay during transition training will be
normal EMB145 salary. After checked as a fully qualified Captain, the pay will be
full EMB190 pay.

Contract Term: 3 years renewable

Benefits:

Salary: $12,000 USD/month (net)

Two scheduling options:
Option 1 - 42 days on and 14 days off with 24 days of paid leave per year
Option 2 - 42 days on and 21 days off with no paid leave. Includes $200/mo pay reduction

Travel Allowance: $8,000 per year (paid quarterly)
Overtime over 80 hours: $130/hr.
Training pay: 60% of salary during ground school (maximum 45 days). 80% during line training until notification of assignment as Captain.
10 days of Sick Leave per year
Salary paid offshore. Expat tax benefits may apply.
Optional global medical/dental heath plan (for pilot and family)
Flight benefits on Hainan Group - Unlimited ID75 for pilot and family members on Tianjin and Hainan domestic routes, and Tianjin's international routes
Jumpseat available for Tianjin's domestic routes

Bonus:

After completion of 1st year - $8,000USD
After completion of 2nd year - $12,000USD
After completion of subsequent years - $15,000USD

Additional Information:

Chinese income taxes will be paid by Tianjin Airlines. Expat status may dramatically reduce your national tax liability. Consult your CPA for tax advice.
International Medical Insurance Coverage is optional and will cover you and your family anywhere in the world.

EMB145 to EMB190 upgrade:

EMB145 Captains will be upgraded to EMB190 as soon as possible. CAAC requirements necessitate verification from your local CAA that you have 2200 hours of PIC time (any PIC). If you can obtain this verification from your governmental authority, you may be able to upgrade immediately. They will not accept verification from an airline. If you are not able to get this certification, you may have to fly up to 700 hours in China before upgrading. In this case, it is estimated that the upgrade may take about 14 months.
